I am currently trying to get the forum upgraded today. I have a little trouble with it (hence the "this messages does not exist" errors you get if you let the board redirect you after a post), but it should be fine. I backed up the database, and I'm trying to get support from phpbb right now. If no one gets back to me, I'll just give up and we'll go back to business as usual.

EDIT: Update successful! No more "The requested topic does not exist".

Spammers have finally started activating their accounts, and I am going to try and get some anti-spam measures installed today. To thwart spammers until then, I've disabled registrations. If anyone really wants to join, please email me at zirathedarkelf@yahoo.com and title your email "Membership at Legends of Adun" or something similar.

Ok! Never mind. I was able to get a custom field working, so that should hold off the enemy for a time. When you register, you must select "I am human." from the drop-down list. If you go with the default "I am bot." you won't be allowed to register.

Membership on the forum requires email activation. We had to change this setting because spam bots have cracked the phpBB3 captcha and are now joining forums. They are not activating their accounts so far, however.

If you join the forum CHECK YOUR EMAIL RIGHT AWAY! I purge the inactive member list every few days, so if you procrastinate, your account will be deleted.

I have some new php codes to implement which will make editing the site easier, so pages will be replaced shortly. The best place for the newest information is our forum, however.

Also, we will be starting a plot soon and opening up RPing options. World development is still not complete, but I never intended to finish it before starting gaming. The world will be further built upon as we go.

I don't intend to flesh out the entire world before we start role-playing, but I do need to set a foundation. These are things I need to do before any games can start.

1. Set up magic systems and special abilities.


2. Set up classes.


3. Finalize and revise races.

Kalesten and the Forsaken Land are the only continents I have done much work on, so Thiskel will remain untouched for awhile. We will likely begin RPs on Kalesten and the Forsaken Land, and perhaps undersea for Mariel and Marfod.
