Founding Day

Out-of-character and off topic conversations. Any discussion is welcome here.
Forum rules
  1. Please type to the best of your ability on our forums. Your posts must be legible and comprehensible. Chatspeak will NOT be tolerated on any board on Legends of Adun. Anyone caught using chatspeak will be warned a minimum of three times before being banned. We respect the English language here, not butcher it. (As a note, using chatspeak in a joking or mocking manner is just fine, just don't try to seriously communicate in that manner.)
  2. Respect your fellow members. Healthy debates are ok, but no hitting below the belt! Making personal attacks against a person for their character, intelligence, race, religion, sexuality, or any other aspect of their identity is forbidden.
  3. Please maintain a level of decency and civility. I am not a fan of forum drama. If you have a difference of opinion, resolve it maturely, or leave it be.
  4. Please try to post your topics on the boards that apply! If you don't know where something goes, just go ahead and post it where you think it would go best. If it doesn't fit, we'll just move it the right board, so no sweat!
  5. Restrain yourself from talking about explicit sex. There are minors on this board! If you want a "mature" discussion about sex, you are welcome to post it on the private adult forums by joining The Perverts usergroup.
  6. Cussing is acceptable on our forums, but please use it sparingly, and never to insult another member.
  7. Advertising for another RPG or community is allowed, but not if that is the sole purpose of you joining. You must have a significant presence on the site before you can start advertising your site. Advertisments can only be posted in this thread.
  8. Feel free to respond to any thread that is unlocked, no matter how old. If the thread is no longer open for discussion, it'll be locked.

Yesterday was Adun’s 2nd birthday! Or well, the second anniversary since the creation of this forum. I’ve been knocking around the ideas for Adun for years, but I don’t have a proper start date like I did for Eiyuu Kishi Den. I created a yahoo club for Adun ages ago, though it was a much different world—Aryen and Tom were there for that. That was lost, and I had an MSN Group up for awhile, but I didn’t bother to save a start date and now MSN Groups are gone. So, July 22nd is the day!

I’d like to thank everyone who has been role-playing lately, and everyone who has contributed to development. I greatly appreciate all of your support in my creative endeavors, and hope we have lots of fun in the years to come!

No, this was maybe a year or two before you even joined EKD. I did make a group on Yahoo for Adun a couple years ago in an attempt to get people from yahoo groups interested, but I deleted it quite a while back. What I was talking about was actually a yahoo club, which was before they merged with e-groups and gave us the platform they have now.
